1. This is Stephen's Theater, at Bach Elementary School. It was built while I was in fifth grade for my best friend who died in second grade. A lot of people worked hard to get the project done, but the end result was worth it. It's a great symbol of what we can accomplish, and it was built to remember Stephen. 2. This is a statue on the U of M campus. I was driving with my sister, when I saw it and asked her to pull over. It was the perfect picture for the assignment. It was kind of rainy, and I tried to capture the mood of the day. I liked the shape, and the simplicity of it. I had to take the pictures quick, because a few people were coming to look at it. 3. These steps are to the left of Stephen's Theater, at Bach Elementary. I remember running up and down those steps at recess to go play soccer right after lunch. I tried to get it from two angles: up and down. I had to lay on the ground for both of them. 4. This is Bach Elementary School. The first picture is my 5th grade classroom. I really like how the building seems really old, with vintage bricks and design styles, but the interior is modern. I couldn't capture that, because we couldn't go in, but I managed to get pictures from the exterior campus. I have a lot of great memories from the school, and it makes me very nostalgic. 5. These were taken at the playground at Bach. There were no children playing on the structures, so I swung the seats to show that the playground was abandoned. I think that not many people are thinking about the youth as much, but many of the things they do are closed. Playgrounds are just a part of that.
